As a foundation, we will seek out innovative ways to create outdoor opportunities for our dedicated men and women of law enforcement, fire departments, government agencies, Veterans, Wounded Warriors and children with special needs.  WRTN will seek to create educational outdoor programs for children who have lost a parent/s while serving our country.

  • Engage in grassroots citizen awareness to motivate individuals through wilderness experiences to develope leadership, character, and a love for an active outdoor lifestyle.
  • Involvement, logistics, and action in creating opportunities as a Network for Veteran’s to explain their stories to others while enjoying the natural resources of the great outdoors.
  • The vehicle for all individuals to come together and identify the best practices for managing the logistics for individuals to enjoy the great outdoors.

The Wounded Warrior Project

I was injured in Iraq February 2007. Since then, through my recovery and volunteer work, I have had the privilege to participate and work with some of the most prestigious organizations all over the US.

These listed on this page are some of my favorites. I encourage you to get involved in your community and thank a hero.
There are many great organizations out there and a great majority of them are doing amazing things for men, women, and children in their communities. Since I am a Wounded Service Member I tend to be more involved with that side of the 501s.

September 11, 2011 our nation was assaulted in the worst coordinated attacks in history. Many of us had a calling to do our part. The Military is a voluntary force, so that means these men and women chose to put their life on the line so we as a nation can live a safer, each day. Through these years of combat we have lost many true American Heroes. There are many that suffer from tremendous injury and there are many that struggle quietly.

Many of you visiting this site may know of an OIF/OEF Veteran suffering from Combat Stress or PTSD. It is imperative that you take the time to help this American Hero seek help. Encourage them to get involved in local programs. Encourage their families to get involved in the community. Offer them jobs whatever it is you can do to ensure these men and women are welcomed home. We have lost so many on the Battlefield. We should never lose one here in the United States of America. The greatest nation on Earth!
